Our kids had a children's bible when they were younger. This particular story and picture was very influential when we started @missionsomerset

It summed up our convictions about what following Jesus and "ministering" looked like...

Just spent 4 days in North Wales. They were, to be

Just spent 4 days in North Wales. They were, to be honest, very long days filled with prayer, fellowship, teaching and sharing food from house to house and publicly. I'm returning home tired but joyfully encouraged.

There were lots of difficult and straightforward conversations as we tried to understand together what the future may look like and yet how this vision must be rooted in the present and woven into the stories of the people right in front of us.

Later in the morning as they dropped me at the train station we received news that one of the team had met a lady who wants to repent of her sin and get baptised.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for...
